Job description

  • Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Hebrew and Judaic Studies teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
  • Teachers are the heart and soul of our program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating a warm and immersive Hebrew learning environment filled with songs, movement, games, and stories
  • Fostering a lifelong love and connection to Jewish learning and Israel
  • Providing patient care and scaffolding as children explore, learn, and play
  • Building strong relationships with students and families
  • Developing and implementing engaging Hebrew and Judaic Studies lessons
  • Differentiating instruction to meet a range of needs and skills
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues to plan, guide, and support interdisciplinary and experiential activities

Qualifications
