- Summary: Provide screening and assessment, follow-up to students in crisis and serve as behavioral health liaison/counselor for the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT).
- Monday thru
- Friday 24 hours a week
- Essential
- Responsibilities: Provide short term counseling to students on campus and refer students for additional clinical services, if appropriate. Provide or coordinate various wellness focused workshops for all students. Provide orientation presentations for new resident students and their families. Provide on-call emergency clinical services, as needed. Complete billing forms, logs, data collection forms and clinical documentation in accordance with Thrive standards. Maintain client confidentiality. Assist clients in developing and strengthening their support network to accomplish goals and objectives. Consult/liaison with staff as needed.

- Responsibilities: Attend all agency/department required training and meetings within the prescribed period. Attend all Safety Training programs and be able to describe his/her responsibilities related to the general safety, department safety, and specific job-related hazards and responsibilities. - Competencies: Master’s Degree in the human service field of social work, counseling or nursing. Minimum (2) year experience working om the human services field. Crisis Intervention experience.

- Requirements: Independent Licensure preferred (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) Valid driver's license and automobile insurance which meets Rhode Island minimum standards required, or the ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job.
