- Responsibilities: Participate in and/or lead annual IEP reviews, initial evaluation, and reevaluation meetings; Develop IEPs Provide support in the general education classroom; Provide one-on-one and/or small group support outside the general education classroom; Administer comprehensive learning evaluations; Communicate regularly with the Director of Student Services; Maintain proper documentation regarding IEPs, accommodations, and parent/teacher communications; Collaborate with general education teachers and Support Services staff regarding IEP students; Support implementation of the SVA vision & mission, helping set the tone and culture; Communicate proactively with students, staff, and parents; Embrace feedback from administration in a continuous improvement modality; Build appropriate professional relationships with students; Collaborate with other SVA staff in all aspects of the school; Participate in weekly special education team meeting; Other duties as assigned by Administration.

Salary Range
$1.00 USD - $150,000.00 USD Annual Position Salary Schedule Eligibility: General Licensed position salaries are set based on one of three salary schedules; General, Hard to Hire, and Specialist/Extremely Hard to Hire. DCSD will award up to 7 years of previous licensed teaching experience at the time of hire. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.
