Heart Monitoring Unit Internship

Perform adult and pediatric ekgs, apply holter monitors, and manage cardiac event recorders while interacting with patients and medical staff. Transcribe test results into the electronic health record system and complete required internal training and testing.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic life support (Bls) certification from an aha-Endorsed program. Candidates must be prepared to complete an internal training program and pass the non-Invasive cardiac tech entrance exam within six months of hire.
