  • Summary: The Division of Cardiology at the University of Colorado is recruiting an Adult (or Adult/Gero) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care to patients on a non-teaching cardiology service. The patients included will typically be post-procedural or short, planned admissions. This includes patients undergoing ablations, pacemaker and AICD implantations, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman device implantation, and Tikosyn admits. There will also be a component of general cardiology consults included. This position will involve primarily inpatient with some possibilities for ambulatory management of these patients as part of a multi- disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general cardiology with some exposure to cardiac procedures. This position is directly supervised by the Lead APP for Cardiology Platinum, Section

Preferred Qualifications

3¬5 years of experience in the clinical management of complex cardiology patients. Inpatient cardiology and/or critical care experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Excellent communication skills to interact with multiple medical disciplines. · Excellent bedside manner and physical exam skills. · General Internal Medicine knowledge base.
