Teacher I

The teacher is responsible for the daily operations of a head start classroom, ensuring a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment. They also conduct child observations, assessments, and maintain collaborative relationships with parents and community resources.

The position requires a high school diploma or ged and a strong understanding of the culture and needs of the yukon-Kuskokwim delta region. Candidates must be at least 19 years old and able to pass a physical exam, tb test, and criminal background check.
