- Monday-Thursday 7:30am to 8pm.
- Friday-Saturrday 7:30am to 5pm Under the supervision of a qualified Terros Health professional; the student-intern will perform tasks related to their specific area of study and the Intern learning Contract. In a highly professional healthcare setting provided by Terros Health; the student will be given an opportunity to apply, and continue to learn by practical application the principals, theory, and knowledge from their related course work. Working closely with LCSW/LPC team and supervisors to learn how to provide the best possible clinical care in the community health setting. We focus on whole person health, including providing primary care services, behavioral health medication services, general mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and specialized programming.
- Upon completion of the program, the student will have learned: Conduct complete biopsychosocials to diagnose and recommend treatment. Provide individual counseling with trauma informed care Lead/co-lead treatment groups for co-occurring disorders Work within an interdisciplinary team including primary care, behavioral health medication prescribers, case managers Asess for and complete referrals to address social determinant of health needs Learn the foundations for providing quality clinical care throughout your career. - Qualifications
- Applicants will possess the following attributes: Dedication to learning, passion for the field, openness to feedback, organization skills. Applicant must be currently enrolled in a supervised field instruction class Graduate level i.e. Social Work, Counseling. Excellent written, and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation skills are highly desired. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Completion of the pre-student/Intern/Practicum onboarding process as determined solely at the discretion of Terros Health, which may include a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
