Occupational Communications Specialist Level 1 or Level 2 (American Sign Language)

The occupational communication specialist provides pre-Placement, job placement, and long-Term employment support to individuals who are deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing. Responsibilities include managing a caseload, cultivating job opportunities, and advocating for necessary job accommodations.

Candidates must possess advanced american sign language skills and have a valid driver's license with the ability to travel for business needs. Applicants are also required to pass a department of human services background check and a motor vehicle record check.
