Substitute Instructor

The substitute instructor will function as an instructor in a standard classroom, delivering instruction in assigned subject areas while promoting a positive atmosphere to maximize student motivation. This role also requires maintaining high classroom discipline to ensure maximum learning and managing student personnel folders and daily attendance records.

Candidates must be certified to teach in the state of iowa, adhering to state guidelines for substitute instructors, and a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record is preferred. Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screen and a nationwide criminal background check, as this is a safety-Sensitive position.
