Job Summary
- The primary objective of the Summer Camp Counselor is to provide a safe, engaging, and fun environment for youth participants ages 4-10. Counselors will lead and supervise daily camp activities, actively engage with campers, and ensure smooth transitions between scheduled programs throughout the camp day. This position plays a key role in creating a positive camp experience while promoting teamwork, creativity, and respectful behavior.

- Duties: - Supervise and actively engage groups of children in daily camp activities - Lead structured games, crafts, sports, and enrichment activities according to the camp itinerary - Rotate assigned groups throughout the facility to various activity stations in a timely and organized manner - Ride and minor bus riders daily, ensuring camper safety during transportation - Maintain constant awareness of camper location and well-being - Enforce camp rules and behavior expectations fairly and in a positive manner - Follow all safety procedures and emergency protocols - Creatively plan and implement additional activities when needed to support camper engagement - Communicate effectively with supervisors, fellow counselors, and parents - Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, patience, and enthusiasm
