Substance Abuse Counselor

The substance abuse counselor implements and maintains an effective trainee employee assistance program, focusing on substance abuse awareness, prevention, and staff training. They conduct individual and group counseling sessions, perform student assessments, and collaborate with community resources to support an alcohol and drug-Free lifestyle.

Candidates must hold a state certification as a substance abuse counselor and possess at least two years of experience in a related field. A valid driver's license and the ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, and walking are also required.
