Youth Advocate, Wraparound-Yolo

The youth advocate provides coaching, mentoring, and advocacy to youth navigating mental health, child welfare, and juvenile justice systems. They participate in family team meetings, facilitate support groups, and contribute to agency decision-Making processes.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and personal lived experience receiving services within child welfare, foster care, mental health, or juvenile justice systems. Level ii positions additionally require a peer specialist certification and at least one year of experience as a peer advocate.
