Job description

  • The Chester Family YMCA is hiring enthusiastic part-time dance instructors.
  • DUTIES of a Dance Instructor Dance instructors will need to be able to assist with the development and implementation of safe and enjoyable programs for participants.
  • QUALIFICATIONS of a Dance Instructor Dance instructors must have related dance experience and the ability to teach dance classes, while observing and helping the children to improve their technique in a fun and safe environment.
  • CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications are desired.
  • Dance instructors must be able to work well with young people, be able to multitask, and communicate effectively with parents and children.
