Lead teachers are responsible for preparing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans one week in advance using current curriculum guides, covering all areas of child development. They must also establish rapport with families, ensure child safety and well-Being, maintain an organized classroom, and manage child assessments and portfolios.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a child development associate (Cda) credential or at least 6 college-Level early childhood education (Ece) credits and must pass all required background checks. The position requires full-Time commitment on a 4/10s schedule (Four 10-Hour days per week) and the physical ability to manage active classroom environments.
