6-8 Soc Studies Teacher

The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering rigorous, differentiated instruction for grades 6-8 while using data to drive instructional decisions. They must also cultivate a disciplined classroom environment and coordinate effectively with subject-Area and grade-Level teams.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a valid michigan teaching certificate with the appropriate subject-Area endorsement. Those without a certificate may qualify through the gee career advancement program, provided they pass a criminal background check.
