Responsibilities
Help evelop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Assess and monitor children's progress Engage children in hands-on activities that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning community. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that meets safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's development and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in early childhood education trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children and families. Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt to diverse learning needs. Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
