Position Details
Title: Pediatric Audiologist Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm As part of the Driscoll family, you will provide life-changing care to children by diagnosing and treating hearing disorders. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, work in both outpatient and inpatient settings, and play a vital role in supporting the auditory health of South Texas’ youngest residents. Essential Responsibilities Perform behavioral evaluations, including VRA, play, and conventional audiometry. Administer ABRs in inpatient and outpatient settings (Natural Sleep, Sedation, Anesthesia) Dispense and manage amplification devices including hearing aids, bone conduction hearing devices, and cochlear implants. Support ENT clinic and other specialty clinics Provide education to families and other professionals Maintain detailed clinical documentation and comply with the newborn hearing screening program requirements. Actively participate in team meetings, process improvement initiatives, and community outreach. Qualifications Master’s degree or doctoral degree (Au.D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology. Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist. Pediatric experience, Cochlear implant experience and ENT clinic exposure, is highly preferred. CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). Strong flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic environment.
