Core responsibilities
The therapist will provide direct clinical care, support mental health needs, and assist in stabilizing youth throughout their treatment process by coordinating the implementation of individualized mental health and substance abuse treatment plans. Responsibilities also include delivering individual, group, and family therapy sessions and documenting clinical progress.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, or a related human services field from an accredited university. Two years of experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances or substance abuse is preferred but not required with the appropriate degree.
