The New Century School, Fell's Point, Baltimore The New Century School seeks a passionate and dedicated Montessori Primary Guide to establish and lead a new Primary classroom (ages 3-6). About Us Located in Baltimore, The New Century School is a small, private school serving preschool through 8th grade. We are committed to fostering curiosity, creativity, and independence through Montessori principles and project-based learning. Key Responsibilities Establish and maintain an authentic Montessori Primary classroom. Guide children in their academic, social, and emotional development. Prepare and maintain a beautiful, engaging, and organized learning environment. Collaborate with the administration and other educators to support the school’s mission. Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress. Communicate effectively with families to foster a strong school-home partnership.

Qualifications

Experience working in a Montessori environment, preferably as a lead guide. Montessori teaching certification, or active enrollment with substantial progress in an accredited program Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster children's independence. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and a commitment to its principles. Minimum 3 years of experience working with preschool children
