Community Access Services is currently seeking a part-time Job Coach in Clackamas, OR to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based employment settings. The primary service area will be Clackamas County, but candidates must be flexible and available to travel and work in Multnomah County and Washington County as needed. This position will begin as part-time and is expected to transition into a full-time role as service needs grow and additional hours become available.
As a Job Coach, you will work one-on-one with individuals at their job sites, providing hands-on training, support, and encouragement to help them build skills, maintain employment, and grow their independence. You will collaborate with employers, support teams, and program staff to ensure each individual is set up for long-term success. No experience required – paid training provided!
What You’ll Do as a Job Coach
- Provide individualized support to individuals at their workplaces Assist with learning and performing job tasks and daily work routines Encourage independence, confidence, and professionalism on the job Support communication and positive interactions with coworkers and supervisors Help individuals build workplace skills such as organization, time management, and problem-solving Maintain accurate documentation related to support and progress Promote safe, inclusive, and respectful work environments Serve as a positive role model and advocate for individual needs and preferences
