Lactation Consultant/ Birth & Family Education

The lactation consultant is responsible for assessing, planning, and evaluating the health of breastfeeding families for both in-Patients and out-Patients. They provide essential education to patients, families, and medical staff while serving as a liaison between hospital administration and expectant parents.

Candidates must be a registered nurse with a valid ohio license and hold a current ibclc certification. A minimum of 1-3 years of job-Related experience is required, specifically including 1-2 years of peri-Natal clinical or educational experience.
