Core responsibilities
Provide bedside psycho-Social support, education, and bereavement resources to nicu families in partnership with hospital staff. Facilitate support groups and track program data to measure impact and effectiveness.
Requirements summary
Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and personal lived experience as a nicu/Picu or perinatal bereavement parent. Must be willing to obtain texas state certification as a mental health peer specialist and complete hospital credentialing.
