- Shift: 12 hour shiftWe are seeking Direct Care Assistants to care for students ages 7-22 with autism.
Schedule
- Nights-7pm-7am 3 nights per week, nights rotate weekly.
- PRN-to work as needed
- Job duties include: Assisting students with daily activities, living activities, and general functions as well as behavior modification programs Following a nightly cleaning checklist and be sure all tasks are complete by the end of shift. Completing nightly bed checks for students as designated. Assisting students in waking, dressing and being ready for the day each morning. Ensuring a smooth transition between shifts by being on-time, organized and ready for students. Qualifications High School diploma required Valid Driver's licence preferred Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred Candidate should be able to pass drug screen and pre-employment background checks (no felonies, no convictions involving abuse, assault, neglect).
