Job description

The eLearning Specialist is responsible for the coordination, planning, and overall facilitation of the LMS Platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assign online training courses to groups and individuals
  • Manage individual learning paths
  • Enroll and Delete users within the LMS platform
  • Work with all departments to create and administer courses tailored to departmental needs
  • Create and distribute PDF/Interactive Training Content
  • Assist Training Manager with capturing and documenting knowledge from Legacy companies
  • Assist with Data Base and content management for Technician Support Portal and Training Matrix
  • Additional projects and assignments as directed by Training Manager or Director

Skills and Requirements

  • Proven experience utilizing any eLearning platform
  • Excellent attention to detail, being thorough in completing tasks, ability to detect problems and report information accordingly
  • Good written communication as appropriate for the needs of the audience, including reading comprehension to read and interpret documents
  • Computer proficiency with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based programs
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable to fulfil obligations
  • Must be willing and able to practice adaptability, with a growth mindset and willingness to learn

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach freely
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination
  • Vision correctable to 20/20
  • Finger dexterity for use of applicable tools
