As a Human Services Associate, you would be assisting program participants with disabilities at their place of employment by helping them maintain their jobs and become more independent in the workplace.

Responsibilities
- Transitional and Competitive Employment Programs 1.
- Provide vocational instruction for teaching participants work tasks and appropriate social skills, whether on-site or during job skills training groups.
- 2.
- Interface with designated team members to maintain schedules to support participants.
- 3.
- Ensure participant safety by familiarizing participants with safety rules and regulations at their work or volunteer sites.
- 4.
- Complete applicable written documentation and data collection within the Therap case management system, including reporting on participant goals outlined in the ISP Program Data.
- 5.
- Encourage participants to maximize production and enhance relationships with supervisors and co-workers.
- 6.
- Report individual participant progress to the Goodwill DDS Case Manager during weekly team meetings.
- 7.
- Maintain regular communication with employers to review productivity and quality of work.
- 8.
- Complete weekly timecards with input from participants who engage in temporary work experiences.
Position Requirements
- Experience in the human services or related field strongly desired.
- A high school diploma preferred.
- Satisfactory driving record, current driver's license, and daily access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle for frequent in-state driving.
- First Aid and CPR are required (Goodwill can provide training after hire).
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
