QualificationsPosition Overview The Bilingual Early Intervention Service Coordinator plays a key role in guiding families through the Early Intervention process from initial referral through transition. In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to families, ensuring they understand their rights, have access to resources, and receive coordinated support services that promote their child’s development and success. You will manage a caseload of approximately 55–65 children, ensuring compliance with all state and federal timelines while delivering family-centered, culturally responsive support.

  • Coordinator, you will: Guide families through the Early Intervention process in a clear, supportive, and family-friendly way Educate families on their rights under Part C of IDEA and ensure informed participation Maintain compliance with all required timelines, documentation, and procedural safeguards Coordinate evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Develop and maintain accurate and meaningful Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) Build strong relationships with families through consistent communication and trust-based engagement Connect families to community resources and support systems Support transition planning as children exit the Early Intervention Program Ensure accurate documentation across state and agency systems Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive outcomes Apply coaching and primary provider models in partnership with the care team Maintain professionalism, flexibility, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment Drive to community locations as part of service delivery What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Early Childhood, Education, Psychology, or related field OR Associate’s degree + 2 years of experience working with children and families with disabilities OR 5 years of documented experience working with children and families with disabilities Required Skills: Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish required) Excellent verbal and written communication Strong advocacy and family engagement skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and caseload responsibilities Strong organizational and follow-through skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems Ability to travel to community locations regularly Preferred Experience: Experience with Early Intervention or developmental disability services Knowledge of Medicaid Waiver programs Experience working with diverse and underserved populations Familiarity with community resources and service coordination Work Environment This role operates across: Office settings Community locations Private residences Virtual platforms Moderate physical activity may be required, including walking, sitting, standing, and lifting up to 20 lbs. A reliable vehicle, valid Colorado driver’s license, and insurance meeting agency standards are required.
