Envision is hiring a full‑time In‑Home Developmental Disabilities / Autism Child & Family Educator to provide 1:1, in‑home, and community‑based support to children with developmental disabilities and autism and their families.

This role (also known internally as a Skill Assessment Specialist) focuses on assessment, parent coaching, skill development, and behavior support through weekly home visits over a 12–18 month service period.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental and skills‑based assessments
  • Identify child and family needs and create individualized service plans
  • Provide weekly in‑home visits to deliver education and intervention strategies
  • Teach and coach parents/caregivers on evidence‑based practices
  • Use Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) and Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) techniques
  • Support child development, communication, behavior, and daily living skills
  • Document services, progress, outcomes, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • 3+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
  • Experience or knowledge in:
  • Child development
  • Developmental disabilities and autism
  • Assessment and consultation
  • Parent training and collaboration
  • Positive Behavior Supports
  • Functional Behavior Assessment
  • Valid driver’s license (no more than 5 points)
  • Reliable, insured vehicle for work travel
  • Age 21 or older
  • Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday (schedule varies by caseload)
  • Preferred Experience / Credentials
  • Special Education Teacher
  • BCBA or ABA Therapist
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • School Psychologist
  • Early Intervention Specialist
  • Master’s degree in Education or Psychology
  • Prior in‑home, community‑based, or early intervention experience
  • Pay & Benefits
  • $50,000–$54,000 annual salary
  • $2,000 sign‑on bonus
