Position Summary

International School of Boston (ISB) is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time English teacher for Middle and Upper School to join our multicultural team. As an ISB educator, you will play a pivotal role in providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment using the International Baccalaureate MYP and DP programs as the foundation for delivering an engaging and rigorous curriculum, fostering a global perspective, and promoting cross-cultural understanding.

International School of Boston teachers provide students with rigorous instruction that… Planning Plan a program of instruction that meets students’ needs, interests, and abilities and supports them meeting learning outcomes Proactively collaborate and plan with grade level colleagues and other teaching teams to develop and enhance curriculum materials, incorporating innovating teaching methods and technologies Instruction Teach students the appropriate programs of instruction in an engaging, differentiated manner ensuring all students receive high quality instruction and achieve high quality outcomes Engage students in meaningful and regular purposeful learning experience, allowing them to explore ideas, environments, or problems while exposing them to many perspectives and worldviews. Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure personal, social, and academic growth Classroom management Create a positive climate with established routines, connections and relationships, positive discipline, restorative practice.
