Behavior Technician (BT) | Autism | Location

In-Home | Monmouth County, NJ| At Progressive Option Support Services, we do more than provide ABA services—we create consistent, supportive environments where children can grow and families feel empowered. We’re currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who are passionate about working with children and want to build meaningful experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Whether you’re experienced or continuing to grow your skillset, this role offers hands-on impact, ongoing support, and a clear path for development. What You’ll Do You’ll work directly with children in a home setting, helping them build essential life and communication skills through structured, supportive care. Provide in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child Track progress through data collection and session documentation (training provided) Support development in behavior, communication, and daily living skills Build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families What We’re Looking For We’re looking for individuals who are dependable, patient, and motivated to make a difference. Minimum high school diploma Experience working with children (ASD experience preferred) At least 6 months of ABA or related experience is a plus Strong communication skills and attention to detail Ability to take feedback, stay organized, and work independently Comfortable working in a home-based environment Reliable transportation and access to a mobile device for session notes Preferred (Not Required) RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities Bilingual (Spanish speaking) or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Why Join Progressive Option Support Services?
