- Early Intervention Specialist - Therapeutic HOURLY PAY: $20.20-22.84/hour plus mileage reimbursement Positions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours - depending on availability and caseload in the area Coverage area includes: Covina West Covina Walnut Glendora San Gabriel Valley San Dimas Pomona Covina La Puente Ontario Rancho Cucamonga *And surrounding areas - we match you with cases approximately within a 20-mile radius of where you live Currently seeking Specialists who are BILINGUAL in SPANISH or MANDARIN CHINESE for these areas Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support.
- You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers where they can naturally learn and develop.
- Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
- Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
- Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.
- Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents/guardians with written weekly activities and effective coaching.
- Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.

Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in health/human services-related major required If you do not have a Bachelor's Degree: May substitute one year of full time college for each year of experience working/volunteering with children (For example, if you have the equivalent of two years of full-time college classes PLUS 2 or more years of experience working directly with children we will consider this as meeting the requirement) *Note: if candidate has Bachelor's degree, then experience may not be required IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure to add any and all experience working AND volunteering directly with children to your application or resume. - Valid CA driver’s license in good standing; Also must have at least one year of history as a licensed driver (in any

- Availability: most sessions will be during the day time on the week days, but some flexibility with availability including some evenings and weekend times may be needed
