Responsibilities

Identify student needs and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students Modify the educational curriculum to best meet the needs of each student Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques Create and enforce classroom rules and procedures Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records Write and submit necessary reports Communicate with parents and school personnel

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher and special education license Previous experience as a special education teacher is preferred Deep understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disorders Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills
