- Range: $17.00 - $22.00 HourlyThe Administrative Assistant provides support to the Program Director. S/he should be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. The Administrative Assistant will utilize and develop many systems that correspond directly with daily business operations. Primary Responsibilities Works closely with Program Director to ensure staff and children files are maintained to a compliant state per licensing requirements Oversees center Procare account (such as processing weekly billing, creating/editing accounts, and updating data tracking information) Reports out weekly attendance for payment by using state publicly funded system and relays missed attendance to parents to correct Compiles and submits monthly USDA food program report Maintains confidentiality regarding all staff and families in the program Supports Program Director with Head Start and Early Head Start requirements (data entry, enrollment, billing, etc.) Daily Operations Greets families and children as they enter and exit the building Completes office, food, and classroom supply orders as needed Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion with the ability to work directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds Other duties as assigned

- Requirements: This position requires proven experience of at least two years in an office administrative role. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work, while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word required with a minimum typing skill of 50 WPM. HS diploma or equivalent (GED) required, associate degree in a related field preferred. Knowledge of Procare, Kinderconnect, and similar systems are preferred, but not required.
