Job description
- In this role, it is necessary to demonstrate sensitivity, knowledge and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Our women’s health clinic offers full spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care to women and LGBTQ individuals for many conditions including high risk pregnancy, prenatal diagnosis, genetic counseling, endometriosis, fibroids, incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, as well as gynecologic surgery.
- We offer advanced ultrasound under the direction of our maternal fetal medicine specialists and can assist patients in accessing doula care, pelvic floor physical therapy, lactation support, acupuncture and other integrative health practices, as well as minimally invasive procedures within the health system.
- We recognize the critical impact of mental health on new parents and families.
- We are proud to collaborate with embedded psychiatry providers in our clinic as well as the Mother-Baby program, as part of the Redleaf Center for Family Healing, which offers a range of multi-generation, trauma-informed mental health services to support pregnant individuals and families with children ages newborn to 5 years old.
- We are seeking a BE/BC obstetrician and gynecologist physician to care for patients at both our downtown and community clinics.
- This M-F part-time position could accommodate someone seeking 0.8 or 0.9 FTE.

- In-house call coverage is approximately 3-4 nights per month which includes rotating weekend call about every 5 weekends.
- Hennepin Healthcare is a safety net medical system and collaborates with the University of Minnesota to train both medical students and residents.

Minimum Qualifications
