Registered Nurse - School Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in our Ft. Worth, TX School. In this role, you will help support the health, safety, and overall well-being of the students and individuals we serve while working in a collaborative and rewarding school environment.

Earn: $45 an hour

Position responsibilities

Responsibilities

• include, but are not limited to:
• Administering medications and carrying out physician and therapeutic treatment orders
• Monitoring, assessing, and documenting vital signs and overall health status
• Training individuals in self-administration of medications when appropriate
• Participating in and supporting therapeutic groups and activities
• Completing accurate and timely medical documentation, progress notes, and health records
• Responding to medical concerns, incidents, and emergencies within the school setting
• Collaborating with clinical, educational, and behavioral health teams to support student success
• Promoting a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for individuals served

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas
• 1-year experience in nursing
• Experience working with students with an autism diagnosis is preferred
