• We are seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our Montessori Preschool classroom.
• Our primary program serves children ages 3-6 years old in a Mixed Age Community.
• This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who are beginning their careers in early childhood education and want to grow in a supportive, team-oriented community.
• Our Primary Community (ages 3-6) supports 24 students with 2 teachers.
• Our teaching team consists of 1 Lead Teacher and 1 Assistant Teacher.

What You’ll Do Support the Lead Teacher in preparing and maintaining a safe, organized, and inviting classroom environment Work with children individually and in small groups to encourage independence, curiosity, and confidence Assist with classroom activities, daily routines, meals, and transitions Supervise children indoors and outdoors, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community through teamwork and clear communication Model patience, kindness, and respect in all interactions with children, families, and colleagues

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring A warm, positive attitude and a genuine love for working with young children Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Dependability and a commitment to being present and engaged each day Interest in learning more about early childhood education philosophies, including Montessori or play-based approaches
