Flexible schedule We are looking for a warm, energetic, and compassionate Direct Support Professional with strong “life coach” qualities to support a young woman with Autism in her home and community. This is a relationship-based role focused on encouragement, confidence-building, social connection, and helping her live a joyful and meaningful life.

She is creative, active, and fun-loving, with interests that include dance, fashion, baking and decorating cupcakes, crafts, soccer, pickleball, basketball (“shooting hoops”), swimming, card games, board games like Uno and Monopoly, computer games, theater, and all things girly — especially Disney Princesses. She does best with staff who are playful, engaging, patient, and genuinely enjoy participating alongside her.

This position is part-time, averaging approximately 12 hours per week.

What This Role Looks Like Provide person-centered support in the home and community Build a positive, encouraging relationship while supporting independence and confidence Engage in preferred activities including dance, crafts, baking, games, sports, and community outings Help introduce new experiences and activities connected to her interests Support emotional regulation and coping with anxiety Encourage communication, social connection, and meaningful routines Be a motivating, supportive presence rather than simply supervising Ideal Candidate Naturally positive, patient, kind, and enthusiastic Has “life coach” energy — encouraging, engaging, motivating, and creative Enjoys being active, playful, and interactive Comfortable dancing, participating in activities, and spending most time in the home or dance studio environment Able to support someone who experiences anxiety and occasional difficulty with conversation Experience supporting individuals with Autism or anxiety preferred Behavior support experience is a plus Reliable, communicative, and team-oriented If you are someone who enjoys connecting with others, bringing positive energy, and helping someone build confidence while having fun, we would love to hear from you.
