Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:15 PM Morning Support Teacher

We are seeking a dependable and energetic morning Support Teacher to help prepare our school for the start of each day. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and safe environment for children, families, and staff during morning arrival hours.

Schedule • Full-time • Early morning shift beginning at 6: 30AM

Responsibilities

  • Open and prepare classrooms and common areas for the school day
  • Ensure classrooms are clean, organized, and ready for children and teachers
  • Welcome and supervise children as they arrive beginning at 6:30 AM
  • Provide support in assigned classrooms based on daily staffing needs
  • Follow direction from leadership team members regarding classroom placement and daily responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
  • Communicate professionally with staff, children, and families during morning arrival

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently arrive early each morning
  • Experience working with young children preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be flexible in supporting different classrooms
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare staff
