- This is a 12-month position specializing in evidence-based behavior change for students with disabilities.
- What you will do as a BCBA: Provide direct assistance to educational staff, administrators, behaviorists, students and parents in the areas of behavior change using Applied Behavior Analysis and addressing challenging behaviors of students attending Devereux schools.
- Provide individual and group trainings; conduct and support functional behavior assessments and analyses; develop positive behavior support plans; ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior plans Advise behaviorists, teachers and administrators regarding best practices and regulations Work as a collaborative consultant with school and agency personnel; provides expertise regarding behavior modification in complex cases; participates in IEP meetings; and becomes a member of the PDE behavior intervention committee.
- Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations for school based services.
- Services and documents are based on best practices within Applied Behavior Analysis, research validated methods, and PDE supported procedures and materials.

- Behavior Analyst annual compensation of $49,500 - $56,430 (dependent upon experience) BCBA annual compensation of $85,000-$96,900 (dependent upon experience) The Devereux School for Integrated Learning focuses on building upon the unique strengths of each student.

- Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders.
- Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. #sponsored #sponsored
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Masters’ or Doctoral degree in psychology, special education or related field. Board Certification in Behavior Analysis or eligible to sit for exam. EXPERIENCE: Prior experience working with students with special needs. Prior experience writing FBAs, BSPs.
