Position Overview Children of America (COA) Xtreme is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Summer Camp Counselors to help create a safe, engaging, and fun summer experience for children ages 5-12. This seasonal position runs for 11 weeks, Monday through Friday, from June 15 through August 28. Counselors will lead daily activities, supervise campers, support field trips, and promote a positive camp environment.

  • Summer program dates: June 15 - August 28 Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage campers throughout daily activities Lead arts & crafts, outdoor games, STEM activities, and themed programming Maintain a safe and structured environment at all times Ensure proper supervision during indoor activities, outdoor play, and field trips Communicate professionally with families and team members Maintain attendance and incident documentation as required Support campers' social, emotional, and behavioral needs using positive guidance techniques Follow all company policies and state licensing regulations related to childcare and safety Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required Minimum 1 year of experience working with children in a camp, school, childcare, or youth program setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage groups of children in an active environment Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire Physical Requirements Ability to actively supervise children indoors and outdoors Ability to stand, walk, bend, and participate in camp activities for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed The base pay range for this position is $18.00 to $20.00 Hourly. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.
