About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to support students with disabilities in the school setting. You’ll evaluate and provide evidence-based interventions to improve student participation and independence in daily and educational activities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help develop and implement IEPs that meet individual student needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate student occupational performance and create comprehensive reports
  • Provide targeted, evidence-based therapy to facilitate learning, independence, and participation
  • Adapt environments, use assistive technology, and train staff to support student needs
  • Educate students, families, and school staff on strategies to improve skills, safety, and daily functioning
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to develop IEPs and intervention plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and coordinate services across the IEP team
  • Maintain accurate records and document therapy services for accountability and reimbursement purposes

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current state Occupational Therapy license and completion of clinical internship
  • Experience with school-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of K-12 special education requirements
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and independent work skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
