Job description

“This job is a civilian position and does not require military service (including commission and enlistment)”

  • The Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach-Football will be responsible for the design and implementation of training protocols under the direction of the Director of Speed Strength and Conditioning for Football. Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Design and implement training protocols (weight room and field work)
  • Assist the athletic training staff in rehabilitation and injury prevention as needed
  • Supervision of the training sessions
  • Instruction of proper exercise technique, including Olympic lifting and sprinting mechanics
  • Ensure safe operation and professional supervision of the strength conditioning facility
  • Comply with all applicable NCAA rules and regulations

Minimum Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Current NSCA CSCS Certification
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience at the NCAA D1 level
  • Have demonstrated understanding and strong commitment to cultural diversity.

  • Have strong leadership skills.
  • Have strong organizational skills.

Preferred Education and/or Experience Qualifications

• 2 Years’ experience with Division 1 Football
