- DUTIES: A typical schedule for our OB/GYN hospitalist would consist of an average of 40 hours per week, comprised of some combination of the following: 14-hour weeknight shifts 12-hour weekend day or night shifts 24-hour weekend shifts As our program expands further, 24-hour weekday shifts may also become available

- DUTIES: Supervise and teach our family medicine residents on Labor & Delivery Maintain full privileges for practice of clinical medicine at Waco Family Medicine Abide by the ethics of the medical profession and all federal, state and local laws and ordinances applicable to his/her practice. Participate in committees/work groups as assigned Participate in ongoing quality improvement projects

- TERMS: The Waco Family Medicine (WFM) Residency Program seeks a full time BC/BE OB/GYN to join two established OB/GYN physicians on our hospitalist team. The position is approximately 60% direct patient care and 40% education and supervision of the family medicine residents in our program. The Waco Family Medicine Residency program is the oldest family medicine training program west of Mississippi and is ranked in the top 2% nationally. Our Federally Qualified Health Center program performs approximately 130 deliveries per month, representing 40% of the obstetric care at our hospital. Our patients are predominantly from an at-risk/high risk medical population. The goal of our program is to provide equitable, evidence-based healthcare to the vulnerable in our community and to train the best family medicine residents in the nation. Salary commensurate with experience.

- EXPERIENCE: · M.D or D.O degree from an accredited school Successful completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency Board certified/board eligible with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology Current or committed to acquire unrestricted
