- Hands on work experience Paid TrainingJob Security and Career AdvancementResponsibilities:Work with participants by assisting them to learn and develop social skills, daily living skills and habits.Accompany participants to appointments, community outings, and other activities.Complete progress notes and make entries into the daily log book.QualificationsPersonal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.Drivers License for more than one year in good standing preferredAbility to communicate both orally and in written form in English.Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver, and the ability to keep up to date pertaining to such knowledge, and interpret same.Understanding of Person Centered Planning.Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with program participants, families, staff and community agencies.High School diploma or GED is preferred.Additional InformationBenefits: For Full-Time positions only!FREE Medical Ins.
