If so, the Family Support Worker position may be the right fit for you! Hillcrest Youth Services is currently seeking an energetic, self-starting individual to fill this full-time position. The position offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour for a 40-hour workweek, working Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. WHY WORK FOR HILLCREST? Providing regularly scheduled visits in the home of the client with services based on both the outcomes of the Risk Factor Assessment tool as well as the results from Child Development Screens. Providing strength-based services to promote child development, bonding, and well-being Delivering parenting education, linking families to community resources and aiding in goal setting. Job QualificationsWHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION? Applicants must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and be 21 years of age. Applicants must be available the first week of employment to attend a full-time, first shift (8am-5pm) orientation and training program. Candidates must be able to establish trusting relationships, function from within a strength-based perspective, and successfully interact with families from other cultures. Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills. Demonstrated proficiency with standard office equipment including Microsoft products, web-based data entry and cell phones. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Must have a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, valid automobile insurance, and qualify for Hillcrest’s vehicle liability insurance. Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
