Responsibilities

Assist in Implement engaging lesson plan activities from our curriculum that promote growth and development in accordance with PA standards and developmentally appropriate practices. Provide care for preschoolers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Assist in preparing any necessary learning materials. Foster a positive environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous experience in childcare, or babysitting is highly desirable. Minimum of 2 years working in childcare (required) Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory. The Whole Child Learning Center, Inc. is an EOP.
