Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room, a fully equipped weight room & more), a Farm student housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe and Barbershop open to the community. What you will do
The Nurse works as a staff member of the Student Services Team. Primarily responsible for the health care of the students, maintains all student medical files and educates staff and students on health issues, first aid, infectious controls and emergency procedures. Depending on site, the Nurse administratively reports to the Medical Coordinator, Clinical Director or Program Director. The Nurse clinically reports to the Site or contracted Physician/Medical Authority.
To be considered you should
High School diploma or equivalent ~Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nursing Credential from the state in which employed~ Minimum of two years of previous medical services administration, including demonstrated experience in operating and securing comprehensive health services programs~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
