Stepping Stones Learning Center is hiring a dependable and caring Childcare Assistant Teacher to support our classroom team.
The Assistant Teacher will help create a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment, support children’s daily routines, assist with learning activities, and follow all Michigan childcare licensing requirements.
Responsibilities: include:
Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities Help supervise and care for children Support children’s learning, behavior, and routines Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom Communicate professionally with staff and families Follow licensing, health, safety, and confidentiality rules
Qualifications
Childcare experience preferred, but not required Must be dependable, patient, and professional Must be willing to complete required trainings Must pass required background checks Must enjoy working with children Schedule: Monday through Friday Work Location: In person
