Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in human services is required and two years' experience in child and family services preferred. A Day in the Life: As a Foster Care Worker, you will: Support children and families to ensure children can safely thrive in their home environments. Teach families vital skills such as emotion regulation, building healthy relationships, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Collaborate with foster parents to provide training, licensing support, and guidance for them and the children in their care. Has a strong desire to help children grow and connect them with community resources. Is committed to advocating for children and families to ensure their well-being and success.
