Job description
- USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The Lacrosse Camp Head Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp, from designing and implementing practice plans to developing athletes’ skills in a fun and engaging environment.
- Duties/Responsibilities Coaching and Skill Development (80%) Lead and instruct players in the fundamentals of Lacrosse, including passing, cradling, shooting, attacking and defending Provide individual and group coaching to ensure player development and improvement.
- Practice Plans and Drills (10%) Create and implement structured, age-appropriate practice plans focused on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.
- Incorporate a variety of drills that emphasize technical skills, speed and agility, and Lacrosse IQ.
- Player Evaluation and Feedback (10%): Assess each camper’s individual progress throughout the camp.
- Provide constructive feedback to campers and parents regarding strengths, areas for improvement, and future development.
- Adapt coaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of each camper.
- Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: This position will be open to people with high level lacrosse experience.
