Job description
CGRC’s Extended School Year (ESY) Program is a summer program that is a structured environment providing social skill interventions for children with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The Extended School Year is a safe environment where students can learn and practice positive social skills.

Summer Program Schedule

- Monday through
- Thursday, approximately 7:45
- AM to 12:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate recreational and therapeutic activities within the ESY program.
- Encourage positive peer social interactions throughout all activities.
- Introduce and practice social decision making/social problem solving concepts with students.
- Provide students opportunity for leadership and various roles within each activity and group.
- Model appropriate social interactions and decision making skills for students.
- Collaborate with directors to access needed materials and resources for behavioral plans and interventions.
